What A Way To End June 2015

This past week was very Hot and hard to stay longer then 6 hours at a time on the water with air temps reaching close to 100 degrees and water temp hitting 93 on most days the Bass didn't seem to mind it at all. This week was a Big Bass Week Quality Was The Name Of The Game. We avg. 10-12 Bass Each Trip except Megan's trip it was just 3 giants and one 3 pounder. I know a lot of men who would do just about anything to catch what she had..

This week consist of business men passing through, tournament anglers, birthday boy, husband & wife, Father & Sons. This fishing is great and we are just keeping it simple, our best baits have been NetBait C-Mac worm 11 & 15 inch Texas rigged on a half ounce weight  in Green Pumpkin and June Bug and a 4x4 Bass Jig in Guntersville Magic with a NetBait Paca Craw on the back, we are finding our fish in 15-20 feet of water catching 2-3 off a spot then moving to the next and repeating some spots have more then that but the big ones are the 1st ones to fire on the spots. Hard bottoms are the key to finding these big bass and Lowrance HDS units is making that part of the puzzle easy. One more tip we have scaled back in line size and its making a difference ( I think so at-least) 12-14 lb Sunline Sniper FC we are now fighting them just a little bit longer and they get to jump a few more times before we land them and the heart beats a little bit more but it is all fun.

Meet The Bantz's they came from Springfield Missouri to fish with us and the boys also known as KVD & Skeet Reese and these two can flat out catch these bass. Tegan will be one to look for in the upcoming years as he follows his dream of becoming a Professional Bass Fisherman.

Check out Bo's Catch.

Megan's Smile says it all for her 1st time to the Big G

July and August are next on the menu of something new to do and Flipping and Frogging are looking pretty darn good if you'd like to do this now is the time to get your date picked out and booked. My froggin dates are filling up as a FYI October is my Favorite Month to Frog the last two weeks are already filling up so don't miss out on this addicting method.

Guess Summer Is Here

Guntersville Bass Guides    256-698-6593

The Fishing Has Been Great, but the heat makes it hard to do it all day.
We have been doing 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening and it has been working out great. Each 4 hour trip we have been catching 8-10 bass and losing some to go with them. I got to fish with these two young anglers from PA for 3 4 hour trips, We had a blast every trip Trey aka Seth and Tyler aka Mark. Keep an eye out for these two off the water Tyler is going off to collage to play Golf and to my understanding he can Drive the ball close to what the PGA guys are doing and Trey is going off to play Baseball and has the resume to be playing pro in a few years. And if they don't work out in the golf or baseball world they'll have Bass Fishing to fall back on!

We have a few things working for us the first is a NetBait 15inch c-mac worm Texas rigged fishing it in 8-12 feet of water secondly a 4x4 Bass Jigs Kevin Hawk Football Jig in that 16-20 feet with a Paca Craw as trailer and third is a 4x4 Swim Jig up shallow with a little spanky as the trailer.

One last thing, PLEASE DONT THROW YOUR PLASTICS IN THE WATER, THROW THEM IN THE TRASH OR SELL THEM TO COMPANIES THAT RECYCLES THEM. You will see a pic of a mag trick worm that was hanging out of a mouth of a bass no hook no line.
Email this guy he would like to buy your used plastics pj@cleanwaterlures.com

JuNe What a WEEK

Fishing on the lake has changed this week for a me and I'm sure a bunch of you, mornings are different then the evenings and Monday was different then Sunday.....

Heres what I figured out during my week of trips, Big Worms in the grass (NetBait C-Mac 15 inches), Chatter Baits on the grass lines (Big Spanky as trailer), Fat John on Grass Lines, Little John DD On Ledge, and a good old school SPRO Dawg on top.

The big schools of bass are becoming smaller by the day and soon it will be a couple here and couple there, and with the grass growing and looking right its hard not to go fish it,  now we haven't found them grouped up in the grass yet but its coming but in the mean time its just covering water and catching them in-between sometimes two at a time, its been great and tons of fun.

As you can see in the pics I've gotten to fish with all ages this week and enjoyed fishing with them all.

I have the end of June open to fish with you.

Fathers day is right around the corner what are you going to get DAD? Get him a Gift Certificate that he can use on a later date. Get It Here

June 4th 2015

The Lake has kicked out some great numbers and some Giant Bass.

This past week has been all fun from catching on on your 1st cast to getting some doubles even on the same crank bait and each of us getting real big bass into the boat at the same time its kinda like being a kid in a candy store its all so sweet.

The one two punch has been SPRO Little John DD's and 4x4 Kevin Hawk Football Jigs, the water temp has climbed this week from 74 to 82 as of yesterday. and with the water temp the fish have moved around. And we are catching them after seeing them on our Lowrance HDS Touch screens its been fun, there is one more strong pattern early in the morning and that is a buzz bait around milfoil give it a try .

Here are some pics from the past 4 days.
